Outcomes
Many SPRN members participate in a national database of outcome measurement. Beneficial to both payers and clinics, clinics' capture and report such data as decrease in pain, increase in function and overall improvement from the patient's perspective. Additionally, number of visits, lost work days and acuity days are reported.
The funtional outcomes system used by SPRN member clinics compares data by clinic, by region and nationally providing insite into national trends and standards of care. Data is available by demographic unit, payer and/or body part, making the information a useful tool for determining ultimate value in rehabilitation services. SPRN provides this data to our partners on a quarterly basis.
